Lions Prostate Cancer Research & Treatment Project helps fund purchase of medical equipment for research and treatment of Prostate Cancer, funded by the very generous donations of local Lions Clubs throughout Australia.
Lions Clubs can make donations by EFT/Internet bank transfer from their Community Service Account. Please quote your club name/number in the Reference/Remarks field in your internet banking.

Individuals can make personal donations by using your mobile to Scan the QR code- Personal Donations to “Mater Foundation” are tax deductible with “Tax Receipt by return email”. Any personal donations, made via QR code to Mater Foundation are acknowledged by Mater for “Lions Prostate Cancer Research & Treatment Project”.
The Lions Australia Multiple District Council approved a “Licence to Seek Funds” for Lions Prostate Cancer Research & Treatment at its August 2026 meeting.
This Licence commences 1 November 2026 and will expire on 31 January 2028. Noting that the project has a current Licence to Seek funds in place (originally approved in August 2025) until 31 October 2026. The Licence is issued pursuant to Cl 34 of the Multiple District Constitution giving the foundation the right to contact Lions Clubs and/or Districts seeking funds for the payment to a third party for charitable or benevolent purposes.
