Lions Clubs Australia donate to purchase equipment for Prostate Cancer cure

A huge thank you to Lions Australia for their recent donation of $300,000 towards Professor Kristen Radford’s research for a vaccine for cancer. Lions Australia and Lions Prostate Cancer Research Project have donated to Mater Research for research and treatment of prostate cancer for over 20 years.
Lions have also supported the establishment of the Queensland Cord Blood Bank, which now facilitates joint research involving Immunotherapy.
Mater Foundation, Executive Director, Andrew Thomas accepted the generous gift at Mater Research’s Translational Research Institute campus. where Professor Radford undertakes her research.
Mater Foundation are incredibly grateful for Lions Australia’s ongoing support in the fight against cancer.
Lions Prostate Cancer Research Treatment is a Project of Brisbane Holland Park Lions Club.
Donations were gratefully received from Lions Clubs throughout Australia, for equipment and research.
There was a recent visit by Holland Park Lions Club members to the Mater Research TRI -Translational Research Institute facility.
